Day 6 One to Ones

The first week of 1:1s.  Mondays are going to stay busy.  14 meetings is not a slow day by any means.  What the heck is a 1:1 and how are they successful and how to manage them.  I started trials of several options for tools. Work Patterns, Fellow, Know your Team, Leadr, and Lighthouse are some of them.  I also was thinking of using Slack, Teams, or just notes.  The current idea from me is 25 minutes a week, 5 or so just learning WHO we are, 10 minutes of "tell me what hurts", then 10 minutes looking forward to what is next for the team/team member.  I want to actually be able to help people and focus them on their "core job" which should be helping the customer through technical journeys.  I want to keep them focused on being more technical and being in their lane.
