Day 4 Finding a new staff member
Today started with following the process to remove a member of my team, and also create a "req" for their replacement. It kind of hit home when I clicked on the "Terminate Employee" button. Lucky that then it took me to a form that I could fill out the info about when and why and whatnot, then upload the file showing that they requested in. Then it will go to someone to make sure I did it correctly. So, by default, I asked my boss if I was doing it correctly. 6 hours later, "looks good to me" is what I got. Meetings seem to be the place data is delivered, so now I have 3 new contacts for possible replacements to my team.
I had a thought that was something like "are you bringing value" "can they execute" "are they making progress" "if you had a magic wand, what would be the one thing you would fix" "Would it save the account?" maybe they cannot answer that, but it would help me when asking about a customer/account.
