Day 16. Failure to plan is planning for failure.

There are a lot of plans that a manager has to make, for themselves, their peers, and of course their team.  I really need to find a better system.  Do we manage this in the HR system, or in the ticketing system, or on my computer, or online somewhere?  I know there is no "perfect management" system, but there must be something better than lists and notes.  I am still working on getting a meeting system setup, but I cannot wait for that.  I am going to start planning to succeed.  I need to do a better job communicating expectation to my people.  I also need to have a better plan for myself, how will I be the best manager I can be.  I need to start scheduling time to write this blog, and time to do some learning courses.  I am never going to just learn from doing, as my boss is about as hands off as it comes, and I need to plan on taking his job.
